What Do We Mean By “Spiritual Care?”
The medical community has recently begun to embrace the fact that each person’s body, mind, and spirit act in concert and are much more successfully treated as one. In keeping with this new paradigm, Kaleidoscope’s intention is to meet its clients wherever they are on their journey with disease and to provide care and support so that they can find healing and peace.
From our first contact with someone living with cancer everything we do is oriented toward rebuilding the hope that cancer depletes and relieving the isolation it creates. Kaleidoscope encircles those we serve with nurture and support on their journey toward wholeness, a place where mind, body, and spirit find healing and peace and each individual feels seen and heard. Our desire is that patients, caregivers, and family members will find hope and connection within the Kaleidoscope family, leading to hope and connection within themselves, and ultimately with the Divine.
